The open pendant is roughly heart-shaped in design. The outline of a heart is clearly visible, with the expected dip at the top and bottom. However, the tilting pendant is really more circular than heart-shaped.
The width of the pendant increases slowly but surely, starting at the tip and ending at the bottom. Near the bottom the silver also seems to dip downwards on one side, creating a highly unusual change in the surface of the face.
The chain complements the pendant, with its fine chain links and thin design.
This intriguing pendant and chain is a firm favourite at Purdice. |
