Shipping and Returns | Jewellery Shipping and Returns Information
How are my items posted? Most items are packaged in protective envelopes or boxes and sent by either Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded post (for UK orders) or Airmail (for international orders). On occasion we may despatch items by courier or other postal method.
Are the items insured in transit? Most postal methods we use offer a limited capped discretionary insurance scheme for certain items but we strongly advise customers not to rely on such schemes for insurance.
Insurance on all items is available at extra cost. Please contact us before you place your order if you wish to discuss making special insurance arrangements, especially if the order is to a destination outside of the UK.
Please note that none of the discretionary insurance schemes above provide cover against consequential loss. We can arrange such cover if required, at extra cost.
When will I receive my order? Typically you will receive your purchase or purchases three working days after you place your order. However, during holiday periods, and also if our stocks are low, your order may take up to 14 working days to arrive. We know how frustrating it can be to wait so we promise to keep you updated wherever possible. Please note orders to destinations outside the UK will take longer to arrive.
Can you ship to destinations outside of the UK? Yes, we often send orders abroad. Please contact us for a full quote and delivery times.
Please note, delivery times to European or Worldwide countries are longer than within the UK.
Furthermore, some countries impose restrictions on certain items entering their borders. In such situations, Purdice Jewellery reserves the right to cancel all or any part of the order. Customers must themselves determine the customs regulations before completing the purchase. Any custom duties will be born solely by the customer. We are happy to advise with customs matters if you contact us before ordering.
We promise to keep you informed about the progress of your order where possible.
Can I return items I purchase which are not defective in any way, from Purdice Jewellery?
We want our customers to be entirely satisfied with their purchase and to recommend us to others.
Please advise us within 7 Working Days if you are not happy with your order.
Please understand that postage will not be refunded in this case.
Goods should be returned in the same condition as you received them & in the same packaging.
However goods that have been engraved to your specifications do not come under the above heading. Please note that where rings have been ordered, we strongly advise you have your sizes checked prior to ordering as an exchange will be subject to postal costs and a nominal administration fee. We cannot offer refunds after 7 days of receipt of rings unless they are proven to be faulty.
If however there are any problems with items we supply, please contact us immediately or at the very latest within seven days of despatch.
We regret that for health and safety reasons we cannot replace or refund certain items such as items which can be worn in piercings.

Please notify us of your intentions.
All items prior to dispatch are checked for quality ,we will either REPLACE OR REFUND at your discretion. For FAULTY GOODS! postage will be refunded.
